Activities Designed for People with Alzheimer’s or Dementia

 Toronto’s Recollectiv Free, though pre-registration is required. A unique musical group whose members are mainly made up of people affected by cognitive challenges (caused by Dementia, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, Stroke, PTSD, brain injury, etc.). Young music students and community members also form part of the band, making this a positive intergenerational experience for all participants. They meet almost every Saturday afternoon, 1:00-2:00 at the Tranzac Club.

 Alzheimer Society Toronto The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) and the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) offer guided tours for people with Alzheimer’s and their companion, which includes coffee and post tour group discussion.

 Bell TIFF Lightbox The Bell TIFF Lightbox hosts Film Fridays, 11:00am, for seniors, including people with Alzheimer’s or Dementia. Inquiries about upcoming films email: toursandtalks@tiff.net
